The Joke's On Mom
I’m not a big joke fan. I guess you could call me a “joke snob.” (Maybe it’s because I am the WORST joke teller on the planet!). However, I heard a parenting joke recently that I’m going to attempt to share because a) I actually remember it, and b) It made me laugh out loud. Hope you do, too!
A mother of five instructed her kids to keep a running list of needed household supplies. When they used the last of any item, the kids were to write it down on a note pad in the kitchen.
As a reminder, the mom wrote at the top: "IF WE ARE OUT OF IT, WRITE IT DOWN."
When she checked the pad a few days later, she found the following message left by one of her teenage daughters:
"MOM, YOU MAY BE A BIT OLD-FASHIONED, BUT YOU ARE NOT 'OUT OF IT.'"
