Pets.  They are full-on, whole-hearted, great-to-love family members ... like children without the diapers and backtalk.  Some people carry their dogs around in their purses, other people let their cats share their dinner.  Whatever your thing is, everyone can agree that pet portraits are sweet. Grab a professional shot at the Beveled Edge 25th Anniversary Pet Portrait Day on Saturday, Aug. 2.  From 12 - 4 p.m., photographer Helen Burrus will snap pics of you and yours, or just your pet.  Cost is $25 and gets you one 5x7 and two wallet-size pics.  All proceeds benefit the Nashville Humane Association.If you can't make it to the Beveled Edge, you can always get Scruffy snapped.
