We've already discussed how much we love Google for the instant and interesting search results on all topics from "How do I change the oil in my car" to "How do I wash my bra without ruining it." If you found other fabulous uses, please email me here!

But, in all that search engine goodness we didn't touch on the endless hours of geek-ish fun one can have with some simple Google shortcuts (Dang!).

Oh, but no worries! Your days of not using Google to quickly look up the definition of "watershed" or get up-to-the-mintue updates on your flight to Chicago are over. Here a a few of our favorite Google tricks:

Instant Dictionary -- typing define: watershed into your Google search bar yields the following: "land area from which water drains to a particular water body." Well, duh. Next you'll be asking to me define: fjord. Gosh.

Weather --  typing weather New York into the bar yields a four-day forecast, wind and humidity readings. Plus fun weatherish illustrations, which are always nice.

Flight tracking -- typing SWA flight 111 pulls the current flight status of your  Southwest flight from Omaha to Chicago. This works with any airline flight that originates in the US. And again, illustrations!

UPS shipment tracking -- got a UPS tracking number? Cut and paste it into the Google search bar and behold! your direct link to the UPS online tracking status of your package.

Okay, I'll stop. I could really go on for days. If you have a favorite Google shortcut, please let me know!

Happy Googling!
